The following is the agenda for this 2-Day, 16 hours course:
Day 1:
- How to establish Attribute indexes
- How to maintain Statistics
- Manage attribute indexes and statistics
- Spatial indexes
- Maintaining geodatabase performance for versioned data
- Schema locks removal
- Create Indexes
- Update statistics
- Reconcile and Post
- Address Conflicts
- Compress the geodatabase
- Rebuild indexes
- Automate performance tasks
Day 2:
- Use either ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS ArcMap Projects
- Convert ArcGIS Pro Projects to ArcMap Projects
- Use Esri MXDPerfstat tool to generate SQL
- Use SQL Server Trace to collect SQL trace files
- Run SQL Server trace files through SQL Server Optimizer
- Implement SQL Server Optimizer Execution Plan
Requirements:
- Attendees will be asked to bring their issues to the class
- Attendees will need admin access to both their workstation and database servers that will be used
- Attendees will host their environment to work through these issues and be responsible for host control
- Attendees will need to download and install the tools that will be emailed prior to the beginning of the course
